How we engage / Managed services

Ongoing support for your data and cloud systems.

UTIS is expanding its existing platform-support and manufacturing-data operations work into managed services. We can scope support for your data pipelines, cloud platform or DevOps function. Systems covered, support hours, staffing, service levels and pricing are agreed for your environment.

Managed-services expansion · scope to agree. The results below describe delivered engineering and operations. New service boundaries, coverage and SLAs are agreed for each engagement.

Ongoing support

Make ownership visible.

  1. Define the service

    Agree scope and responsibilities.

  2. Monitor and maintain

    Support the agreed workloads.

  3. Review improvements

    Prioritize changes with the team.

Conceptual workflow. Scope, validation and delivery responsibilities are agreed for each engagement.

Your priorities

When this approach fits

These are common reasons to bring UTIS into the work.

01

Daily support competes with new delivery.

Monitoring, incidents and routine improvements need dedicated attention alongside your team’s roadmap.

02

Problems cross team responsibilities.

You need to know who investigates, who makes changes and who communicates when a system dependency fails.

03

Support commitments need clear definitions.

Response time, resolution time, data freshness and availability measure different things. The service agreement should specify which apply.

Our contribution

Experience behind the service

+

Database and reporting operations

Support SQL Server, data-loading jobs, reporting refreshes and monitored operational follow-up for a media company.

+

Manufacturing-data operations

UTIS improved SQL Server and SSIS processing, added checks for missed work and documented operating steps. One real incident demonstrated next-day detection.

+

Streaming-platform support

UTIS operates and extends an existing machine-data platform and rebuilt its health monitoring.

+

Detection of missed processing

A previous-day processing check identified an unprocessed-data issue the next day in a documented incident. The issue was resolved the day it was found.

+

Documentation and handover

Operating instructions, platform handovers and named successors support changes in responsibility.

Each result describes a specific engagement and retains its original source and scope.

100%

Pipeline components in a shared health view

Monitoring for an existing streaming platform was consolidated into one real-time dashboard.

Working together

How the engagement works

01

Agree the systems covered

Identify applications, data processes, dependencies and responsibilities included in the service.

02

Set support hours and measures

Agree coverage, escalation contacts and any response, resolution, data-freshness or availability commitments.

03

Prepare the transition

Review access, documentation, monitoring and handover needs before responsibility transfers.

04

Review service performance

Agree reporting, stakeholder reviews and how improvements or scope changes will be handled.

Before we start

Frequently asked questions

What to expect when you work with UTIS.

Is managed services a new offering?

UTIS already provides manufacturing-data operations and platform support. The broader managed-services offer is an expansion. The systems covered, staffing, support hours and terms are agreed for each engagement.

Do you provide 24/7 coverage?

Coverage is agreed for the service. Delivery capability in the US, Brazil and India creates options but does not itself establish staffed hours or a 24/7 commitment.

What does the incident-detection result show?

In one documented incident, a monitoring check identified an unprocessed-data issue the next day, enabling resolution that day. This is an observed case result; service levels for a new engagement are agreed separately.

How will pricing and reporting work?

We scope fixed monthly or capacity-based pricing for the agreed service. Reporting, reviews and escalation contacts are agreed before support transfers.
