Working with UTIS / Vendor & partner review
Make your review of UTIS straightforward.
Evaluating UTIS for an engagement or a technology-partner program? Start with the relevant delivery evidence, then discuss the technical, supplier and credential requirements for your review.
01 / Before work begins
Six decisions to make together.
A useful review connects procurement requirements to the work, the people and the operating environment.
-
Technical fit
Who will do the work, and why are they a fit?
Recruiting is led by a production software architect, followed by technology and domain specialist interviews. Before a profile reaches you, UTIS provides a written recommendation covering strengths, gaps and role fit. Review that assessment against the work your team needs done.
Agree togetherRole, technologies, responsibilities, working location, availability and your interview process.
-
Contracting
How will the engagement be structured?
UTIS can work under your MSA or ours, with time-and-materials terms or milestone-based statements of work. Appropriate employment or business-to-business contracting arrangements are reviewed against the actual working relationship and applicable requirements before they are agreed.
Agree togetherScope, exclusions, commercial terms, employment or contracting responsibilities, client dependencies and how changes are approved.
-
Confidentiality & access
What can the team access and share?
Confidentiality, NDAs and access requirements are addressed for the engagement. The technical scope should reflect your environment and the controls required to work in it.
Agree togetherApproved systems, access permissions, data-handling expectations and confidentiality obligations.
-
Supplier onboarding
What must be reviewed before the start?
UTIS coordinates role-dependent background screening and work-authorization checks, legal-team support for H-1B sponsorship for qualifying employment, and multi-state payroll and work-location planning. Share your insurance and supplier-document requirements so we can confirm the available evidence and responsibilities. Start readiness is assessed for the specific role, location and required authorizations.
Agree togetherRequired checks, current certificates, supplier documents, onboarding responsibilities and the conditions needed to start.
-
Delivery & acceptance
Who owns progress, decisions and acceptance?
Define the technical approach and acceptance checks with the people responsible for the system. For embedded work, connect UTIS check-ins with your team’s priorities; for projects, agree milestone reviews.
Agree togetherDelivery owner, decision makers, review cadence, escalation contacts and acceptance criteria.
-
Handover & support
How will your team operate what is delivered?
Plan documentation and knowledge transfer as part of the work. If ongoing support is needed, scope the systems covered and the responsibilities before the transfer.
Agree togetherOperating instructions, handover owners, support hours and any service commitments.
Technology-partner evaluation
Review our technical practice.
Start with the technologies we use, then inspect the project scope, UTIS contribution and validation behind the work. The Databricks practice brings its relevant cases and delivery approach together.
Completed delivery, initial measurements and work still in transition are distinguished in each case. We can discuss your credential and reference requirements directly; reference introductions require client permission.
02 / Relevant evidence
Review the work. Discuss the references.
Our case studies explain the problem, UTIS’s contribution and the scope of each reported result. Use the relevant examples to discuss your systems and the experience needed for the engagement.
Client reference introductions require client permission and appropriate confidentiality arrangements. We agree the relevant scope and reference process with you.
