Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SQL Server Developer to join our remote team. This role involves supporting our clients during PST business hours, focusing on T-SQL development, SSIS development, performance tuning, .NET scripting for SSIS, and adhering to Agile Scrum methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• T-SQL Development: Design, develop, and maintain database objects such as tables, views, functions, stored procedures, triggers, and indexes to meet business requirements.
• SSIS Development: Develop and maintain SSIS packages for ETL processes, ensuring efficient data integration and transformation.
• SSIS Scripting: Utilize SSIS Script Tasks and Script Components to implement custom logic using C#, extending the functionality of SSIS packages.
• Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize SQL queries and database performance to ensure high efficiency and scalability.
• Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SQL Server designs.
• Agile Methodology: Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, using Jira for project management.
• Client Interaction: Manage client communications professionally, ensuring clear understanding of requirements and timely delivery of solutions.
• Documentation: Generate and maintain documentation for SQL Server designs, SSIS packages, and other technical processes as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in SQL Server development, including T-SQL, SSIS, and .NET scripting.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in T-SQL, SSIS, and SQL Server performance tuning.
• SSIS Scripting: Experience with SSIS Script Tasks and Script Components, utilizing C#  for custom logic implementation.
• Methodologies: Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
• Tools: Familiarity with Jira for project management.
• Communication: Fluent in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to generate clear and concise documentation.
• Availability: Must be available to work during PST business hours.

• Data Warehousing: Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and star schema design.
