
Role and responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with strong coaching skills to mature our Agile teams further and strengthen the Scrum Master role within our ART. You train your teams on Scrum practices, facilitate Scrum events and continuously stimulate your teams to become highly autonomous yet highly aligned teams. You will be helping your team reach new heights with regards to predictability, quality and collaboration within the team, but also within the ART as a whole.
As a Scrum Master your role generally includes:
- Drive the Agile team to become High Performing
- Ensure delivery of solutions to achieve objectives committed by the team
- Ensure that risks, operational dependencies, and impediments are solved by the team
- Provide insights and transparency on team maturity, predictability, progress, performance, and secure quality of the value delivered
- Ensure the team relentlessly improves on processes and way of working (based on Lean-Agile mindset and principles)
- Ensure the Agile team’s rituals are effective
- Help the people around the team to understand which interaction with the team is helpful or not
- Create focus in the team by shielding them from external interferences
- Identify and initiate improvement initiatives for the ART and collaborate closely with the team of Scrum Masters in doing so
- Contribute to Community of practice
You will work closely with the Release Train Engineer, our other Scrum masters, and Product owners.
Education and experience
- At least 3 years of proven experience as a Scrum Master in an environment that uses full SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
- Good knowledge of SAFe framework, specifically on the team-level aspects and corresponding ceremonies
- Proficient with Jira and Jira Align
